Introducing: Michael Kiwanuka – Channelling the voice of Bill Withers
Michael Kiwanuka is a 23 year-old soulful Londoner who has been supporting Adele on tour of late and just happens to sound like Bill Withers (and has covered him too). ‘Tell Me A Tale’ was produced by Paul Butler of The Bees, a band who know a thing or two about perfecting vintage sounds.
Kiwanuka’s debut EP is released through Communion in June. We could be looking at a new star here.
