Chantal Kreviazuk – Singer OST Armageddon

Kreviazuk’s parents are Carol and John Kreviazuk. Kreviazuk is a First Nations (through his grandmother, Big 5) and the Scottish and Ukrainian descent through his mother, and Ukraine, through the father.
Kreviazuk’s first album under the rocks and stones, was released in 1996 in Canada and the United States in early 1997 to much critical acclaim.
The album sold over 100,000 copies in the U.S., largely driven by the singles “Surrounded” and. “God Made Me”, while in Canada remains the double platinum with sales over 200,000. Three videos from the album received an easy to play on Much Music video channel and radio (“God Made Me”, “believe” and “Wayne”), but it was fourth, “surrounded”, that Canada was playing his first major hit in 1997. Kreviazuk announced on his blog in August 2005 that he was writing and recording fourth album in his home studio, Maida produce. The first single from the album, “All I Can Do”, was presented on the official website and MySpace page for the release. Kreviazuk’s work has appeared on numerous soundtracks for films and television shows. In 1998, Kreviazuk scored only international hit to date with the cover of “Leaving on a Jet Plane,” a song written by John Denver and popularized by Peter, Paul and Mary. This song appears on the soundtrack of the blockbuster movie Armageddon and The album was Aerosmith’s single “I Do not Want to Miss A Thing”.
In 1999, Chantal recorded cover of Randy Newman ballad “Feels Like Home” for the Dawson’s Creek soundtrack, and “How to Lose Guy in Ten Days, ‘and doing covers of The Beatles” In My Life “for the television drama Providence.
In this life is in the movie Saved! and also in the trailer for the movie The Door in the Floor with Jeff Bridges in the leading roles, as in an episode of Smallville CW Television Network.
