Gianluigi Buffon, was born on January 28, 1978 in Carrara, Italy. This Italian players position as Goalkeeper. Buffon started playing in the Italian League Serie A at the age of 17 Years with Parma. In front of a judge in Turin, he admitted betting on sports (until legislation in 2005 banning the player to do so). But he balked when have bet on Italian league matches. Finally he cleared of all charges by FIGC on June 27, 2007.

As a result of Calciopoli scandal that hit Juventus, Buffon was said to be sold. But Buffon decided to stay even though he reportedly received an offer from AC Milan.

Buffon’s first debut in the Italian national team at the age of 19 years. At that time he became a replacement player when Gianluca Pagliuca playoff action against Russia from the World Cup qualifiers in 1998. He scored 5 times a clean sheet in 453 minutes without penetration in the World Cup 2006.
